Turning to Stone

A single thought;
echoing in mind and body.
Destruction; paradise.
A paradox in which connect to each other indefinitely.

Like love and hate,
they feed each other.
One simply cannot survive without the other,
nor can one thrive or dominate the other.

They balance each other until individuality becomes a part of the system;
the ability to distinguish from right and wrong,
and the willingness to turn the other way.
That is where destruction takes over.

Where it takes over.
It slowly hardens you;
makes you numb.
And,
we let it happen.
We allow this thing to turn us into stone.
